Gayle Rinke has been with Preferred Financial since 2018 and was an Office Manager at a successful business for 20 years before. She resides in the small village of Almont and has three grown sons that still seems to keep her busy. She enjoys golf and gardening in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter with her family. She enjoys working at PFP because of the great atmosphere and her co – workers.

As the National Sales Vice President at Preferred Financial Partners Greg brings 15 years’ experience in working with and developing financial advisors to help them grow their practice. Starting with Preferred Financial Partners in 2017 as the National Sales Vice President, Greg has recruited a team of 25 financial professionals and created our independent insurance division by cultivating strategic relationships. Greg started his career as a financial advisor with SagePoint Financial building his practice from the ground up. Working as a regional wholesaler with PLUS Financial Network and Ash Brokerage Greg strategically managed relationships and increased sales opportunities with broker dealers and independent financial advisors.
Greg is a graduate of Walsh College in Troy, Michigan, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is actively involved in his community with organizations such as Miracle League, Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, and Special Olympics. Greg enjoys the financial world because it gives him the ability to make a positive impact on families and businesses while helping them protect what matters most. Avid golfer, enjoys traveling and huge Red Wing fan.

Rich Abernathy has been with PFP since November 2019 where his focus is on Compliance and Operations. Rich has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years coming with a background in securities. “I like the culture of PFP, my co-workers, and believe we play an important role in our clients’ financial lives.”
Rich is a self-proclaimed economics and finance “nerd”, is always up to trying out a new restaurant or food truck. He is married with two daughters and an interesting fact he has family in Canada.

John has been a vital part of Preferred Financial Partners (PFP) since 2019, serving as the Marketing Director and providing essential back office support while managing his own insurance book of business. As a licensed insurance agent in Michigan, he is dedicated to helping clients from all walks of life achieve their financial and insurance goals. His role as Marketing Director allows him to craft compelling strategies that elevate PFP’s mission of delivering holistic financial solutions. John’s favorite aspect of working at PFP, beyond collaborating with his exceptional colleagues, is the opportunity to connect with diverse individuals and make a meaningful impact on their lives.
A 2020 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy with a degree in Finance, John brings a strong financial foundation to his work. During his time at UDM, he played varsity soccer for two years until a back injury shifted his path. Undeterred, he channeled his energy into the university’s Strength & Conditioning program, where he trained athletic teams including men’s and women’s Tennis, Fencing, Cheer & Dance, and assisted with men’s and women’s Lacrosse and Basketball. It was through this experience that John discovered his true passion for helping others achieve their goals, a value that continues to drive his work at PFP.
In his free time, John enjoys spending time with friends and family, sharing laughs. You will often find him outside, engaging in activities that keep him active and connected to the world around him.

A recent mortgage underwriter, Andrew Marchetti has over 3 years of helping individuals and families realize the American Dream. Rooted in the education of the Jesuit order at the University of Detroit Mercy and the Catholic Church at De La Salle, Andrew is dedicated to the service of others. Playing soccer for 15 years has implemented the team mindset strongly into his professional and personal lives.
A self-proclaimed “foodie,” Andrew enjoys exposing himself to as many different cultures and cuisines as possible. He is often spending time with family and friends, working on his golf game, or improving his acuity for service. The most fulfilling part of his day is making people smile and laugh. He is looking forward to bringing his drive to serve to the forefront of the financial services industry in continuing to help others achieve financial idealism in any way he can.

He’s a University of Detroit Mercy Graduate where he played soccer and completed his MBA. In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing sports, snowboarding and being around family and friends. He has a true passion for traveling, indulging in different cultures, and creating unique experiences. Justin enjoys being heavily involved in the community and demonstrating servant leadership. Justin also is on the board for the American Lung Association where he helps organize and facilitate the Fight for Air Climb and other large events.
